I loved this book. Sam Phillips was responsible for putting some of the greatest musicians and performers in the ears of our country through his studio Sun Records.

Guralnick is a great biographer of musicians and does not mince words about Phillips’s faults as a human and offers a complete story about this incredible time of recording and music.
